Frequently Asked Questions

                                                                                                                                                                                           1. What are your weekend services like?

Each weekend at Church of the Harvest International you’ll find a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with exciting, contemporary worship music. A printed outline for notes and a large-screen PowerPoint presentation to help you make the most of the practical and relevant message. Children are well-cared for in a loving, quality nursery and fun-filled KIDS Club service. Our services are at 9:30 AM and 11:00 AM and last one hour and twenty minutes.

2. What will happen when I visit for the first time?

If you are visiting for the first time, we will not embarrass you, have you stand up, or ask you to give money. We know that many people want to check out the church and “be anonymous” for a while—and that’s fine with us. Come in, enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, and see if this is the church for you.

3. What do I wear to attend your services?

You’ll find everything from casual clothes to business suits at our Weekend Services. Come in what is comfortable for you, because COTHI is not about what you look like or what you wear.

4. Where are you located?

You can find our location and directions under the “about us” link. (click here)

5. What about my children and youth?

At Church of the Harvest International your children are a top priority. Our nurseries are clean, safe, and staffed with loving workers. We offer a dynamic children's ministry called KIDS Club that meets on Sundays during both worship experiences as well as life-changing ministry to students from junior high through high school in our Revolution Youth ministry that meets at 9:30 AM and 11:00 AM every Sunday.

6. How can I meet others and get connected?

There are many ways to get involved. You can begin by attending our Next Steps class, which occurs once a quarter on Saturday's from 9:00AM - 1:30PM. Sunday night of the month at 1:00 PM. Connection groups are another great way to connect. In each of these, you can build friendships, learn more about the life of our church, and have the opportunity to grow in your faith.

7. How can I be discipled and grow?

Our desire is to see you become a fully-devoted follower of Christ. Our Next Steps class offers the tools necessary to make this happen in your life. From the initial decision to accept Jesus as your Lord to your involvement in life-changing ministry, we will lead you step-by-step from healing to growth and into leadership. Begin the process at our next Church - Journey 101 Membership Class.

8. Why do you have connection groups?

Connection groups are an important part of Church of the Harvest International; in fact, you haven’t fully experienced the church until you’ve experienced our connection groups. Groups allow you to meet other members and develop relationships that will spur your relationship with God. As Church of the Harvest International grows, groups allow us to stay small and "connected". Groups are available for all ages and interests—there’s bound to be one that’s just right for you. Learn more about why we’re big on connection groups, or find a group (here).

9. How can I get involved in a connection group?

One of the easiest things to do at Church of the Harvest International is to participate in a connection group. Groups meet throughout the South Atlanta area during the fall, winter and spring and provide a place for Bible study, fellowship, and support. Wherever you live, there’s a connection group near you. Check out our online directory and visit a group this week.
